Meet Duncan

Duncan Malcolm MacRae is a lifelong entrepreneur who moved to Indonesia in the 1980s and built businesses across handicraft export, jewellery manufacturing, reptile breeding, motorcycle importation, and botanical sciences. He is the founder of Rimba Reptile Park in Bali, the namesake of the blue-spotted tree monitor Varanus macraei, and the founder of Motark Enterprise.

Three decades in Indonesia taught him the same lesson again and again: find something worth being curious about, and build something real around it.
